📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Super Sweep. Arkansas remains the best as the women’s track & field team won the NCAA Outdoor Championship! Coach Chris Johnson secured a sweep of NCAA Championships in his first year as Head Hog. The Razorbacks scored 61 points on the final day. Nickisha Pryce set a new collegiate record and world-leading time of 48.89 to win the 400m. Razorbacks followed behind her with Kaylyn Brown, Amber Anning, and Rosey Effiong finishing second through fourth. Rachel Glenn earned bronze in the 400mH. Arkansas bettered their collegiate record in the 4×400m relay to secure the championship. This is the women’s ninth national title and the 51st overall.

🔺 Romaine Rules. The men’s track & field team finished the NCAA Championships in seventh-place. Romaine Beckford complete a sweep of NCAA high jump titles and completed an undefeated 2024 season. The 4×400m relay squad earned a second-place finish with a school record time to finish the meet. The Razorbacks earned the USTFCCCA John McDonnell Program of the Year for 2023-24.

🔺 Just Another Day. It seems like Hagen Smith is named a finalist for another award each day! The Arkansas Ace was named one of five finalists for the National Pitcher of the Year Award by the College Baseball Foundation. The award is college baseball’s Cy Young Award. He threw 11 double-digit strikeout games this season and became the program’s all-time and single-season strikeout leader.
