📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Comeback Kings. They had us in the second inning, but it’s a good thing there are nine innings in baseball! The Diamond Hogs pulled off a 9-8 walk-off win over Texas Tech last night after a slow start. Arkansas came back from a 7-0 deficit before Nolan Souza’s bases loaded sacrifice fly completed the comeback in the bottom of the ninth. The longest winning streak in Baum-Walker Stadium history stays alive and moves to 24 straight wins. The two teams will be back at it today at 4 pm on SEC Network.
🔺 Robyn Batters. For the first time in her career, Robyn Herron has been named SEC Pitcher of the Week! The sophomore southpaw went 2-0 at No. 25 South Carolina with a 0.00 ERA through 12.1 innings. She limited batters to a .163 average over the weekend. On Sunday, she hurled a three-hit complete game shutout to secure the Hogs third-straight ranked series win.
🔺 Rockstar Rookie. Razorback sprinter Kaylyn Brown picked up SEC Freshman of the Week honors after running a world-leading time in the 400m at the Tom Jones Memorial in Florida. She also recorded a personal best in the 200m with a 22.77 times. She went on to take part in both of the Razorback relays where the 4×100m squad won its section. Hear from the rookie after setting the world-leading time.
🔺 BP For Prez. Former Razorback Bobby Portis is making a strong campaign for the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year. He’s sits at the top of the league in double-doubles off the bench with 16 and rebounds off the bench with 573. He’s second in points off the bench with 1,052 and has played in all 82 Milwaukee Bucks games this season. Hear from his teammates and Coach Doc Rivers on the matter.
