⚾️ THE HOG POD

Sit down with Razorback baseball captain, Peyton Stovall, as he takes us through his journey at Arkansas. From deciding to turn turn down a first-round MLB contract, to Omaha, to batting back from multiple injuries, Stovall's journey has been a unique one, but it's all helped form him into the player he is today.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Rise & Shine. The Diamond Hogs dropped their first game of the SEC Tournament to South Carolina yesterday, despite rally efforts. It was a back-and-forth game for awhile, but the Gamecocks prevailed and won 6-5. The good news? We get to watch Hagen Smith and more Razorback baseball today. Arkansas takes on Kentucky this morning at 9:30 a.m., so prepare accordingly.

🔺 Tickets Punched. Three men’s track & field athletes punched their tickets to the NCAA Championships yesterday! Wayne Pinnock finished the long jump with the second-best mark in the NCAA West First Round. Patrick Kiprop and Kirami Yego will join him in Eugene, Oregon. They finished the 10,000m third and sixth. Multiple Razorbacks will advance and compete again on Friday. The women’s team will begin their action today.

🔺 Serving All-Americans. The 30th-ranked men’s tennis duo of Božo Barun and Jared Horwood continue their fight at the NCAA Doubles Championships. They won their Sweet 16 round to advance to the quarterfinals. Their win over the No. 12 duo from Illinois gave them ITA Doubles All-American honors. They’ll play No. 3 Robert Cash & JJ Tracy today at 3 p.m. for a spot in the semifinals.

🔺 Playing Catch. Former Razorback Drew Smyly is spending time with the South Bend Cubs as he rehabs from an injury. He struck out five across three perfect innings. Behind the plate was former Razorback Casey Opitz! He hit a home run in the fourth inning. Cubs broadcaster Brendan King interviewed Casey after the game, check it out.
