🎙️ HOG POD: LANDON JACKSON
Total transformation. If you find yourself trying to figure out who No. 40 is on Arkansas’ defensive line this season, you won’t be alone. Landon Jackson looks like a different person. The junior is entering his second season with the Razorbacks after transferring from LSU, has added 40-plus pounds to his frame in the offseason. But gaining that much weight is a lot of work—and a LOT of eating. In this episode of the Hog Pod, we talk with Jackson about his journey to Arkansas from Texarkana, and to becoming the player he is today.
📈 STOCK UP

One rest day later and the Hogs were back at it against the Wolverines, notching their second Big Ten win of the season with a sweep. 🔺 Dominant Debut. No. 27 Arkansas women’s golf put together an impressive second place showing at the Carmel Cup played at Pebble Beach Golf Links with a 14-under 1066 in the six-count-five format. Freshman Maria José Marin played in her first collegiate tournament and displayed why she is a Golf Channel Preseason All-American. Maria fired off an 11-under 205 (67-70-68) over the weekend to match the Arkansas freshman 54-hole record and round out in second place in the field.
🔺 Late Charge. Birdies from John Driscoll III, Mateo Pulcini and John Daly II on the 18th hole pushed the Razorback men’s golf team from 12th to sixth place after day one at the Folds of Honor Collegiate. Arkansas is currently +5 as a team, with Driscoll at even-par after the first 18. He’s tied for 15th in the field.
🔺 Stat Of The Week. Every Tuesday following an Arkansas football win, we’ll unveil a special Stat of the Week. The spotlight goes to safety Jayden Johnson. Despite being targeted in coverage six times, Jayden allowed a passer rating of just 2.8, tied for the lowest among all FBS safeties this week with at least two targets. The junior from Cedartown, GA was responsible for creating two of Western Carolina’s five turnovers with a forced fumble and interception.
