🔺 Always A Classic. It’s time for the 80th-ever meeting between Arkansas and Texas A&M on the football field. The Southwest Classic is once again in AT&T Stadium in Fort Worth, TX for a battle between the 2-2 Razorbacks and the 3-1 Aggies. Arkansas holds a 42-34-3 advantage all-time against Texas A&M, and is 1-1 in the last two games.

🔺 Lethal Weapon. Arkansas freshman tight end Luke Hasz has been named the John Mackey Tight End of the Week after becoming the first Arkansas freshman since 2012 to log 100+ receiving yards with multiple touchdowns in a game. The Bixby, Okla., product was lethal vs. LSU last Saturday, catching a team-leading six passes for a team-high 116 yards and two touchdowns to become the first Arkansas freshman to record multiple receiving touchdowns in a game since TE Hunter Henry at LSU in 2013.
🔺 Spicy Run. Arkansas cross country is back at it today with the annual Chile Pepper Festival. The 22nd-ranked men’s team will race among a field of 32 teams on its home course at Agri Park this afternoon with a start time of 5 p.m. in the McDonnell Memorial 8,000m race. The 20th-ranked women’s squad will compete over a 5,000m distance at Agri Park on Friday with a 4:30 p.m. start time among a field of 35 teams in the Harter’s Habanero race in the Chile Pepper Festival. 🔺 Muss See TV. Arkansas and the Southeastern Conference announced the 2023-24 men’s basketball television designations and game times. Arkansas will play on the ESPN family of networks 16 times, be televised on SEC Network eight times and appear on CBS versus Kentucky in Lexington (Mar. 2). In addition, Arkansas announced that two games of interest – the Purdue exhibition game and the Razorbacks’ game versus Lipscomb in North Little Rock – will be broadcast on SEC Network Plus and the Watch ESPN App. Click here to view the full broadcast schedule.
🔺 No-No In CoMo. Seventh-ranked Arkansas soccer stayed perfect in SEC play Thursday evening with a 1-0 victory at Missouri. Ava Tankersley, a Missouri native herself, scored the match’s lone goal via a penalty kick in the 13th minute, and Freshman goalkeeper Phoebe Carver notched her third shutout in as many career starts.
The Hogs have now won five matches in a row and move to 8-2-1 on the year with a clean 4-0-0 record in league play.
