Cookin’ up greatness. Arkansas defensive lineman Cam Ball is a menace in the trenches, but how does he fare in the kitchen? Cam and his fellow teammates stopped by the Ronald McDonald House recently to help feed those in need. Check that out and more from this week’s episode of Razorback Football with Sam Pittman.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 36 In The Bag. The Arkansas men’s golf team sits two shots back of No. 6 Auburn after day one at the SEC Match Play. With a 36-hole score of 540 (-28), the Razorbacks ended up with two golfers inside the top 10. John Driscoll III (T-3rd) ended up with a team-low 65 for his second 18 and Jacob Skov Olesen (T-8th) was two shots behind at 67.

The Razorbacks’ scores of 540 total and 28-under-par are both the second-lowest, 36-hole results for a 54-hole event in school history.

🔺 Ex-set-ptional. Arkansas volleyball’s hot streak seen junior Hannah Hogue take her game to new heights. Hannah has won the SEC Setter of the Week award for the third time this season after leading the Volley Hogs with 79 total assists over the team’s 3-0 and 3-1 victories against South Carolina and Texas A&M, respectively. She is currently second in the SEC in assists per set at 11.22, first in total assists with 572, and fourth in the SEC in aces per set with 0.47.

🔺 Running With Opportunity. After spending four years playing D2 ball for Texas A&M-Commerce, Andrew Armstrong has become a go-to target for KJ Jefferson and the Hog offense. The under-recruited wideout has always planned on playing on the biggest stages, and is living proof that no two journeys are the same. Check out Andrew’s conversation with Bo Mattingly in this episode of the Hog Pod.

🔺 Two-Way Star. Arkansas midfielder Bea Franklin got things started last Thursday with the game’s first goal against No. 9 Alabama, but it was her prowess on defense that earned her some hardware. Bea was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time while playing in the league. Bea led the SEC this week with two assists, one having led to Kennedy Ball’s game-winning goal against Texas A&M.

🔺 Assistance Granted. Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman announced a restructuring of the Razorback basketball staff to reflect new NCAA rules that went into effect this past July. Under the new legislation, basketball now allows five assistant coaches for on-court instruction during practices and games. Click here to find out what Coach Muss’ staff now looks like.
