🔺 Five-Nil. Arkansas soccer didn’t just notch a victory over a top-10 team, they did it by five goals. The Razorbacks shut out the ninth-ranked Crimson Tide 5-0 Thursday night at Razorback Field. Goals like the crazy one shown below from Morgan White gave goalkeeper Phoebe Carver a comfortable lead in the net, but Phoebe produced a shutout anyways in her first career start.

It’s the biggest win over a top-10 team in program history. Wooo Damn Pig.

🔺 Stats Update. Following 10 wins in 12 con-conference matches, Arkansas volleyball begins SEC play tonight as the 16th-ranked Volley Hogs host South Carolina for a 7pm tilt on SEC Network. Jillian Gillen and Taylor Head lead the way in kills with 183 and 175, respectively, while Sania Petties is atop the statsheet for successful kill percentage at 33.2% entering league play. Sania also leads the Razorbacks in blocks with 38, and Courtney Jackson has the most digs with 168. Click here for a full preview of tonight’s match.

🔺 Back Where It Began. 🔺 Business In The Bayou. Arkansas football kicks off SEC play with a monumental matchup against No. 12 LSU in the earliest-ever rendition of the Battle of the Golden Boot. Both teams are 2-1 on the young season, though LSU has won its previous two games while Arkansas is looking to bounce back from last week’s loss to BYU.
