📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Captain’s Pride. Redshirt senior and defensive captain Trajan Jeffcoat has been named the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in Arkansas’ 28-6 victory over Kent State. Trajan recorded three tackles with 2.0 tackles for loss (-11) as a part of the Hog defense that allowed just 26 rushing yards, the fewest by an Arkansas opponent since against New Mexico State (11) in 2017. He also posted a career high 1.5 sacks for a loss of nine yards on his way to earning the second SEC weekly honor of his career.
🔺 Perk Up. This week's Wooo Pig Perks have gone live! Want a tour of the Razorback locker room or a chance to flank the “A” before Saturday’s home game vs. BYU? It’s all possible with Wooo Pig Perks. Book your experience today!
🔺 Digging Up. Arkansas volleyball moved up to No. 16 in the country following a 3-0 weekend trip to Kentucky, and junior libero Courtney Jackson has been named SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week. She finished the team’s road trip with 60 digs over three matches, and had double-digit digs in each. Her 24 against WKU were a season high, and third highest in the SEC for a single match all season. The award is Courtney’s second SEC weekly honor of her career, and first since 2021.
🔺 What’s All That Racket? The Racquet Club 14K was a very productive event for Arkansas men’s tennis stud Melvin Manuel. His last match of the weekend was a tight victory over LSU’s Julien Penzlin, 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (6). The senior from France compiled a 4-1 record for the tournament and closed with three straight wins in the singles silver draw..
🔺 A Threat Every Time. Every Tuesday following an Arkansas football win, we’ll unveil a special Stat of the Week. The spotlight this week belongs to MIKE backer Jaheim Thomas, who registered four pressures and two sacks against Kent State despite rushing the quarterback just five times all game. Jaheim also led the Hog defense in stops with six, according to Pro Football Focus.
