📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Hot Spot. Arkansas baseball’s transfer portal class has been ranked No. 2 in the country by Baseball America. Eight newcomers were listed in the top 100 — Landon Beidelschies (9), Zach Root (13), Camden Kozeal (26), Charles Davalan (33), Logan Maxwell (52), Rocco Peppi (65), Carson Boles (93), and Michael Anderson (98).
🔺 The Weekend Starts On Friday. The Hogs play their first game of the season in Fayetteville on Saturday, but the party starts Friday night. Big Red’s will be rocking starting at 6 p.m. atop Razorback Stadium with live music from The Bynum Project featuring special guest Women’s Basketball Head Coach Mike Neighbors. Snacks and light concessions will be available for purchase along with beer, wine and ready-to-drink cocktails. Parking is available in Lot 44 and fans can enter through Gate 10 and take the elevators up to Big Red’s. Admission is $10 and fans of any age are welcome to attend.
🏆 The Hall of Honor will welcome eight new members on Friday night at 7 p.m. inside the Walton Arts Center. Ravin Caldwell (football), Alex Collins (football), Matt Hemingway (men’s track and field), Matt Jones (football), Kareem Reid (men’s basketball), Coach Dave Van Horn (baseball), Devon Wallace (softball), David Walling (baseball), and Wendi Willits (women’s basketball) will be formally inducted in a ceremony Friday before being honored on Saturday at the football game. Admission is free with fans encouraged to RSVP.
🎉 The first pep rally of the year will be held at the Greek Theatre starting at 7:15 p.m.
The party keeps rolling on Saturday morning with Brew Pig Sooie starting at 11 a.m. on the Bud Walton Arena West Lawn. The brewfest will feature over 25 breweries with food trucks and a live DJ leading up to kickoff against UAB. To purchase tickets, click here. (Please note: Brew Pig Sooie is a 21-and up event and ID checks will be in place at the entrance. All patrons entering the beer fest must be at least 21 years of age. Please drink responsibly.)
🔺 Head To HogTown. The Hogs are home this weekend which means HogTown is back! HogTown opens four hours before kickoff with the Abbey Pierce Band performing at 11:45 a.m. HogTown is open to fans of all ages and will feature food trucks, a pep rally, and plenty of entertainment.
🔺 We Back. Wooo Pig Perks returns with even more experiences available to Razorback fans. From videoboard messages during the game to locker room tours on Friday night to sideline passes, fans have the chance to create special memories around their game days. 🔺 Where We Stand. The 17th-ranked men’s golf team is in play at the Folds of Honor Collegiate! They fired 1-over yesterday to move up in the leaderboard, tied for ninth. The final round will be played today, fans can watch live on the GOLF Channel from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
