🏈 THE STORY OF DAHRRON MOSS

For the past 17 months, former Razorback cornerback Dahrron Moss has been battling Stage IV pancreatic cancer. But adversity is nothing new to his life. Moss’ scholarship offer from Arkansas came after he attending a football camp that his mother had to pay for by taking out a loan.

“I’ve been blessed my entire life. I never did without. I got exactly what I needed. I earned it usually, but I got it.”

Hogs+ senior contributor Clay Henry sits down with Moss to reflect on his unique story, career, and outlook on life now battling cancer.

🎥 COMING VERY SOON

Quinn Grovey rose to be one of the nation’s top college quarterbacks of the late 1980s. His story transcends far beyond his accomplishments on the field.

Premiering this Thursday on Hogs+, “Growing Up Grovey” is a three-part series about football, family, and enduring one of the most baffling diseases known to man. With the same grace and determination he displayed on the football field, Grovey was able to return the unconditional love to the mom who had once taught her little boy how to love others and live life to its fullest.

🔺 Gritty. Tough. Hard-nosed. All words to describe Arkansas co-defensive coordinator Marcus Woodson. It just so happens they also describe Sam Pittman and the Razorback football program. Which makes Woodson and Arkansas a match in Hog Heaven. Hear his conversation with Bo Mattingly on the latest edition of the Hog Pod.

🔺 QB’s Worst Nightmare. We’re now just 25 days from the start of Arkansas’ football season. Wayne Martin knew how to get after the quarterback better than any Razorback in history. His 25.5 career sacks from 1985-1988 remain the all-time program record, though Henry Ford came close with 25 sacks from 1990-93.

🔺 Coming And Going. The future and past of Razorback track shined over the weekend. Incoming freshman Shawnti Jackson won gold at the Pan American U20 Championships in the 4×100k relay and 200m, while alum Shafiqua Maloney improved her Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 800m national record at the Ed Murphey Classic in Memphis. Shawnti’s 22.35 time in the 200m ranks third on the all-time high school list.
