🔺 Barnhill Battle. Arkansas volleyball’s third and fourth matches of the young season couldn’t be bigger as the 21st-ranked Razorbacks take on No. 1 Wisconsin tonight and tomorrow night in Barnhill Arena. Both matches will begin at 7pm, and SEC Network will carry tonight’s broadcast.

The all-time series between the Badgers and the Hogs is tied at 2-2, and the teams last played each other in 2017. Here’s what you need to know before tonight’s first serve:

• This is the first time the two teams have played at a non-neutral site.

• With Wisconsin as this week’s No. 1, it’s the first time Arkansas has hosted a No. 1 since 2010.

• Wisconsin opened the weekend with victories against No. 15 Baylor (3-1) and TCU (3-0). Arkansas didn’t concede a set in their opening victories over Michigan State and Tulsa.

🔺 Houdini Himself. We’re now just three days away days from the start of the 2023 Arkansas football season. Joe Adams wore the No. 3 jersey with pride during his electric four-year career in Fayetteville. The 2022 UA Hall of Honor inductee reeled in 164 receptions for 2,410 yards and 17 touchdowns to go with five punt return touchdowns for his career, and one play stands out over all of them. Adams sat down with Bo Mattingly last year to break down his famous 2011 punt return against Tennessee that earned him an ESPY nomination for "Best Play".

🔺 One & Two. The South Central Preseason Region Rankings have been released for women’s and men’s cross country. Arkansas has the No. 1 women’s team and the No. 2 men’s team in the region entering the 2023 campaign, which officially begins this Friday in Stillwater, OK. The Razorbacks will once again start the season at the Cowboy Preview along with some of the top programs in the country.

🔺 Cold Ones. Introducing Brew Pig Sooie, the first outdoor beer festival hosted by the Arkansas Razorbacks.

For just $30, you will receive entrance to Brew Pig Sooie with access to 10+ breweries, a 5 oz. tasting cup which gets you unlimited sample pours, and a ticket to the Razorback Soccer match. On Sunday, September 17, the beer festival will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will also feature local food trucks and a live DJ. After the beer fest, you can head inside the gates and cheer on the Razorback Soccer team in their match against Grand Canyon University.
