📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Legendary Leap. 2023’s longest long jump in the world belongs to Razorback Wayne Pinnock, who leaped an incredible 28 feet, 0.25 inches for Jamaica during Wednesday’s qualifying round at the World Athletics Championships. The career best leap for Pinnock moves him to equal No. 20 on the all-time world list. Fellow Razorback and Jamaica teammate Carey McLeod joined Wayne in reaching the final with an automatic qualifying distance of 26-10.5 (8.19), which led group B and was fourth best overall. Razorback hurdler Ackera Nugent als0 advanced to tonight’s 100m hurdles final by repeating her 12.60 time from the prelims. She finished second to world record holder Tobi Amusan of Nigeria, who won the heat in 12.56.

🔺 Duck, Duck, Hog. Razorback soccer’s season rolls on tonight as Arkansas plays hosts Oregon in a red out featuring new red kits! Due to expected hot weather, the match has been moved back an hour to 7:30pm at Razorback Field. It will still be streamed on SEC Network Plus. 🔺 Back In The Mix. We’re now just 9 days from the start of the 2023 Arkansas football season. No. 9 Taurean Carter has been going full since the Spring practices and his return to the Arkansas defensive line as a starting defensive tackle will be huge. The Mansfield, TX native missed all of last season with a torn ACL. When he last played in 2021, he totaled 24 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack and one pass break-up in 13 games played.

🔺 Unforgettable Trip. Arkansas women’s basketball is back home from their undefeated trip over in Europe. Click here to see behind-the-scenes footage of the Razorbacks taking in the sights and sounds of Croatia and Greece.

🔺 Lucky 13. The Reese’s Senior Bowl is widely considered the premiere all-star game in college football, and plenty of Hogs have its attention. The 2024 watch list features 13 Razorbacks, including six on offense and seven on defense. Here’s who made the list for Arkansas:

  • QB KJ Jefferson

  • WR Andrew Armstrong

  • WR Isaac TeSlaa
