📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Nobody’s Vault But Mine. Tina Šutej and Sandi Morris, a pair of Arkansas track and field alums, advanced to the pole vault final at the World Athletics Championships during the qualifying round held on Monday evening. They will compete for the title tomorrow night after they both cleared 4.65 meters.

Today, Arkansas volunteer assistant Shamier Little will race in the semifinals of the 400m hurdles, and Ackera Nugent will run in the opening round of the 100m hurdles. Click here for everything else Arkansas-related over in Budapest.

🔺 Elite Company. Arkansas football is represented by running back Rocket Sanders on the AP’s preseason All-American Second Team. Rocket is one of two tailbacks to make the Second Team list, and one of four players at his position to receive recognition by the AP. 🔺 Cobi’s Catches. We’re now just 11 days from the start of the 2023 Arkansas football season. Cobi Hamilton wore the No. 11 jersey proud during his four years in Fayetteville, and his 2012 season is arguably the greatest year any Arkansas receiver has ever had. His 90 receptions and 1,335 yards are each school records, as is his 303-yard game against Rutgers from that season. It’s the only 300-yard performance in Razorback history.

🔺 KJ Jefferson has evolved into one of the best quarterbacks in Razorback history. As he enters his senior season at Arkansas, he’s within striking distance of Matt Jones’ school record for total offense. But it’s not just the records. KJ has grown into a major leadership role with the team.
