📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Walking To The Future. Arkansas held its annual H.O.G.S. Walk symposium on Wednesday night inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The event creates meaningful connections between current Razorback football student-athletes and professionals in the Northwest Arkansas community to provide a valuable networking opportunity.

The event featured 25 companies represented by numerous former Arkansas football players. The former Hogs shared their experiences and insights during an alumni panel, that featured advice for the present and future. Hear Head Coach Sam Pittman and defensive lineman Cam Ball talk about the event here.

🔺 Pay Dirt. We’re now just 36 days from the start of Arkansas’ football season. Alex Collins scored 36 rushing touchdowns in his Razorback career, but he made defenders pay every other time he touched the ball as well. Collins’ 2015 season that featured 1,577 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns remains one of the very best in program history.

🔺 Elite Backing. Former Razorback linebacker Dre Greenlaw has made the NFL Top 100 list for the 2023 season. The annual list that compiles ballots exclusively from NFL players has the Arkansas alum as the 79th best player in the NFL. Greenlaw, a fifth-round pick from the 2019 NFL Draft and Fayetteville native, is entering his fifth season with the San Francisco 49ers.

🔺 Go ahead, take a bow. You deserve it. Season tickets for Razorback men’s basketball have SOLD OUT for a third-straight year, and we aren’t even in August yet. Bud Walton Arena will be popping once again, starting with an exhibition against Purdue on October 28 in which proceeds will go to Arkansas 211, a program of the United Way, to assist with relief efforts from the tornadoes that affected Arkansas this past spring.

🔺 Crashing The Board. Arkansas women’s basketball Head Coach Mike Neighbors has been named to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Board of Directors. Neighbors is now one of five NCAA Division I Coach Directors across the country and becomes the first Arkansas head coach to serve on the board. The seventh-year head coach of the Hogs was one of seven new voting directors welcomed to the board during the board’s annual in-person summer meeting, which was held on July 20.
