Today, a former Razorback is scoring low at The Open.
Good morning. It’s a great day to dress up in all pink and see that movie about the atomic bomb. Yeah, that’s the movie you’re seeing today. It’s not like there’s another one that just released…

📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Get Ready The Right Way. So much has changed for Arkansas football. Lucky for you, no one covers the Razorbacks like Hogs+ senior contributor Clay Henry. His 2023 football season preview series for Hogs+ starts next Monday. Featuring interviews with OC Dan Enos and DC Travis Williams, Henry’s player previews and positional breakdowns will start rolling out next week. Only on HogsPlus.com.
🔺 Red On The Card. Just 31 golfers at the 151st Open Championship finished Round 1 under par, including former Razorback David Lingmerth. Sitting at -1, Lingmerth is tied for 19th after the first 18 holes. The 35-year old native of Sweden birdied three of his final six holes on the back nine at Royal Liverpool.
🔺 Sack Attack. Tomorrow will mark 42 days from the start of Arkansas’ football season, just six weeks away! The Razorbacks set a team record last year when they registered 42 sacks against their 13 opponents. 10.5 of those sacks came from three different Razorbacks returning for significant roles in 2023: Zach Williams (4.5), Chris Paul (4), and Landon Jackson (3).
🔺 Diamond Day. “The thing with Jamaicans that I really love is that they will encourage you and fight the battle with you.” Arkansas’ own Jaydon Hibbert has much pride from where he comes from, and he’ll be competing against others from Jamaica at today’s Monaco Diamond League event. Check out his presser before he takes his leaps.
🔺 More Bogle Bombs. Arkansas softball got a huge breakout year from Rylin Hedgecock in 2023, and she’s not finished yet. The slugger from Valdosta, GA officially announced her return to Arkansas for one more season this week. Rylin slashed .335/.459/.774 and posted 21 home runs, and 62 RBI on her way to First-Team All-American status.
