🔺 Go DJ. Arkansas’ DJ Baxendale has been named Razorback baseball’s director of player personnel and acquisitions! He’s the first general manager for Arkansas baseball and will take a leading role in roster construction and serve as an intermediary between the coaching staff, Arkansas Front Office, current student-athletes and prospective student-athletes, including high school recruits and transfer portal targets. Baxendale has spent seven seasons on the Arkansas baseball staff.

🔺 ProHogs Update. Former Arkansas softball standouts have made their presence known in the AUSL! Bri Ellis is batting .433 with 13 hits and four home runs, including a walk-off on the Fourth of July. Former teammate Kailey Wyckoff has joined her this season with the Utah Talons, becoming one of the biggest contributors selected from the reserve pool in the entire league. She has started in all 14 games she has played, recording a .293 average with 12 hits. Dakota Kennedy has been one of the best rookies in the league this season, batting .310 with two home runs and seven RBI. Tianna Bell made an immediate impact for the Chicago Bandits when she was selected from the reserve pool. She hit two home runs while batting .444 before being moved back to the pool.

🔺 Doubled Up. Razorback men’s tennis’ Jakub Vrba won the ITF M25 Zagreb Men’s Doubles Championship in Croatia over the weekend! He and his doubles partner Jan Kumstat cruised to the finals having lost only one set in the tournament.
