🔺 Run DMC. Razorback legend Darren McFadden’s No. 5 jersey will be the first Arkansas Razorback jersey honored, beginning this season. A jersey patch with his initials and signature silhouette will be worn on the front of the current players wearing the No. 5. D-Mac was a two-time Doak Walker Award winner and Heisman Trophy runner-up. He’s widely regarded as one of the greatest players in program history.

The retired numbers of Clyde Scott and Brandon Burlsworth will join McFadden’s on display inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The No. 5 will be unveiled during the Arkansas vs. Texas A&M game on October 18.

🔺 Trench Talk. Offensive lineman Fernando Carmona has been named to the Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List! The award is presented to the best interior lineman in college football. Carmona is one of 10 linemen from the SEC on the list.
