Razorback men’s basketball announced a few new signings! Davion Thompson reclassified to be part of the 2026 class. He was a 5-star by 247Sports Composite rankings before reclassifying. He was named to the 2026 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team. The guard comes to Arkansas from Link Academy.

Caleb Ourigou also reclassified to be part of the 2026 freshman class. He was a consensus 4-star prospect for the Class of 2027. The 6’11 center comes to Arkansas from New York, also playing for Overtime Elite (Atlanta) Cold Hearts.

Maper Maker comes to Arkansas from Australia. He’s a 7’0 center who played for AUNZ Prep (Australia).

Ilia Frolov is a 7’0 center from Kursk, Russia. He played for Real Madrid in Spain for two seasons. In the 2025-26 season, he was named Eurobasket.com All-Spanish U22 League Center of the Year.

All four of the new freshmen will play with the Razorbacks for the upcoming games in The Bahamas.

🔺 Talking Season. Arkansas will take the stage at SEC Media Days today! Head coach Ryan Silverfield will take the podium at 9:30 a.m. CT. He’s joined by Caden Kitler, Sutton Smith, and Quincy Rhodes Jr. SEC Network will have coverage all day long.

🔺 Academic Excellence. Razorback baseball has earned the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for the sixth consecutive year! Teams must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher to earn the recognition.

🔺 Double Dozen. A combination of 24 Razorbacks are entered in 19 events at the USATF Outdoor Championships, representing a total of 29 entries. The meet is being held at Iachn Stadium in New York City today through Sunday.
