📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Jaydon and Ayden. We’re just two weeks away from The Bowerman semifinalists being revealed, and Arkansas will be represented plenty.

Two athletes each from the mens’s and women’s teams were tabbed the pre-NCAA Outdoor Watch List update. Freshman standout Jaydon Hibbert and junior decathlete Ayden Owens-Delerme were named to the men’s list, while juniors Ackera Nugent and Britton Wilson made the cut for the women’s list. This was the seventh update for each list, and the final before the semifinalists will be unveiled.

🔺 What’s In The Bax?! We’re inside 90 days from the start of Arkansas’ football season. And for each corresponding day, we’ll highlight a player on the current roster. Starting with No. 89, Nathan Box. A redshirt senior from Jefferson City, MO, Nathan played a career-high 11 games last year and earned his first career start against Kansas in the Liberty Bowl. He caught one pass for 11 yards in the Bowl victory over the Jayhawks.

🔺 Bobby For President. Coming off another productive year in the NBA, Arkansas legend and current Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis will be playing for Team USA in the 2023 FIBA World Cup this summer. Portis will be joining Team USA’s roster which includes NBA All-Stars Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves) and Tyrese Haliburton (Pacers), and fellow Arkansas native Austin Reaves (Lakers).

🔺 Teammates Forever. Razorback legends and teammates Dan Hampton and Leotis Harris have been revealed to be two of 78 nominees for the College Football Hall of Fame class of 2024.

Hampton is one of the highest drafted Razorbacks in school history and was a First-Team All-America selection in 1978 and a two-time member of the All-SWC. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 after a legendary career with the Bears, including winning Super Bowl XX. As a Hog, Hampton was a force for Frank Broyles and Lou Holtz helping the team to three Top 10 finishes with wins in the Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl.

Harris became the first African-American All-American for the Razorbacks when he was named a consensus First-Team All-American in 1977. He helped the Hogs to a share of the SWC title in 1975, capped by a Cotton Bowl victory over Georgia to finish ranked seventh in the Associated Press poll. As a team captain in 1977, Harris led Arkansas to an 11-1 finish after a stunning win over No. 2 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. He went on to a six-year NFL career with the Green Bay Packers.
