🔺 Home & Homes. Arkansas men’s basketball’s SEC opponents have been revealed for the upcoming 2023-24 season. Here’s what stands out to us:

  • The Razorbacks will play five teams both home and away including Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M.

  • For the second straight year, and just the third time since the Razorbacks joined the SEC (1991-92), Arkansas and Kentucky will meet in a home-and-home series. The road teams won both matchups this past season.

  • Arkansas will host Tennessee this year for just the sixth time since 2014. Arkansas has travelled to Knoxville nine times in that span.

Times, dates and television information will be announced at a later date. Check out the full list here. The deadline for season ticket holders to renew their tickets is this Friday, June 30.

🔺 Down To Three. Arkansas junior Britton Wilson is one of three women finalists selected for The Bowerman. She becomes the third Razorback female to be a finalist for the prestigious award, and the first since sprinter/hurdler Janeek Brown in 2019. Britton’s record-breaking year was highlighted by setting the new best American time in the indoor 400m at the SEC Championships.

🔺 Standing Tall. The 6-10 offensive lineman Dan Skipper stands out on and off the football field. But his journey from Arkansas to the NFL has been larger than life. He started 47 straight games for the Razorbacks, the second-longest streak in program history, and blocked seven field goals at Arkansas, just two shy of the NCAA career record. But a standout college career doesn’t equate to immediate success at the next level. After six teams in six years, Skipper finally got his shot in 2022. No matter where his professional journey takes him next, Dan Skipper’s story is already larger than life. Learn about it with Bo Mattingly in this episode of the Hog Pod.

🔺 True Efficiency. We’re now 67 days from the start of Arkansas’ football season. That’s just a little over two months! Put it into percentage form, and it’s what KJ Jefferson eclipsed last year as a passer. KJ completed a career-high 67.5% of his passes in 2022, which was nearly a one percent improvement over his 2021 percentage of 66.8%

🔺 Too Easy For Him. This week, we’re counting down KJ Jefferson’s top 5 plays from the 2022 season. In the No. 4 slot is this 20-yard touchdown throw that extended Arkansas’ lead over Ole Miss in what would become a 42-27 victory. This was KJ’s third touchdown of the game, and it showed off his expert patience and timing. Check out the full top 5 list, courtesy of Clay Henry, on HogsPlus.com.
