🔺 Triples Are Best. Razorback men’s track and field was represented well in the South Central Region honors.
Freshman Jaydon Hibbert took home Field Event Athlete of the Year in honor of his undefeated season in the triple jump. He’s now earned three accolades for his incredible outdoor season alone.
Head coach Chris Bucknam was honored with his fourth-career South Central Region Coach of the Year for the outdoor season. He last won the award in 2016.
Associate head coach Travis Geopfert has now won back-to-back South Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year honors for the outdoor season. He also received the honor during the 2023 indoor season.

🔺 Winner In Waiting. The next coach for Arkansas women’s track and field is a great one in Chris Johnson, who took home his 15th South Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year honor, and fourth for the outdoors season as a Razorback. Johnson has also claimed the indoor honor for the past three consecutive years, and a total of five times with the Razorbacks, and he had four consecutive indoor honors at Penn State. 🔺 Back To You. We’re now 78 days from the start of Arkansas’ football season. No. 78 Joshua Braun is yet another new face to the Hogs’ offensive line, and he’ll be in play to start during his first year as a Razorback. Joshua originally committed to play at Georgia before Sam Pittman left to become the head coach at Arkansas. Four years later, the former four-star recruit will play under Coach Pittman at last.
🔺 Up The Mississippi. Clear the circle, because another transfer for Arkansas softball is inbound! Pitcher Morgan Leinstock will join the Razorbacks next season as a graduate transfer from Southern Miss and Arizona State, where her collegiate career began. The Scottsdale, AZ native has played in over 100 career games, and notched 37 wins, a 2.65 ERA, and 443 strikeouts for the Golden Eagles the past three seasons.
🔺 Hogs Of Summer. Arkansas baseball players are taking the country by storm in the coming weeks as 24 Diamond Hogs begin Summer league play. 24 players will compete for 15 teams in nine leagues. Peyton Holt and Ben McLaughlin will even get to stay in state playing in the Marucci Midwest Arkansas Collegiate League on the same team.
