🔺 End On A Win(s). The 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships have wrapped up in Austin, and the Razorbacks came out with several more victories.

Let’s start with Jaydon Hibbert and Phillip Lemonious winning individual titles on Friday night. Jaydon won the triple jump on his first-round leap of 57-7.5 into the wind, bettering the facility record of 56-2.5 set four years ago, while Phillip defeated the field in the 110m hurdle race with a winning time of 13.24. It’s the third 110m hurdles title for Arkansas in school history. Jaydon may’ve missed the NCAA meet record by a centimeter, but he did become the first Arkansas freshman to win the NCAA Outdoor title, and just the fourth freshman ever

Yariel Soto Torrado also produced a career best score of 7,917 points to earn the Razorbacks three team points in the Decathlon.

On Saturday, Ackera Nugent won the 100m hurdles with an amazing time of 12.25 seconds, the fastest all-conditions collegiate time ever. It’s now tied for the 10th-best on the world all-conditions list. Ackera has successfully completed a sweep of NCAA hurdle titles this season after winning the 60m hurdles indoors.

The Razorbacks closed out the night with a victory in the 4 x 400m relay, posting a time of 3:24.05 with the foursome of Paris Peoples, Joanne Reid, Nickisha Pryce (50.33), and Rosey Effiong (50.73). The time ranks No. 3 on the UA all-time list and the Razorbacks swept NCAA titles this season.

🔺 Running Point. The NBA Draft is less than two weeks away, which means Anthony Black and his Arkansas teammates are in the home stretch before finding their professional homes. Sit down with Anthony and acclaimed NBA insider Shams Charania as the 6-7 point guard talks growing up in sports family, playing soccer as a kid, and much more.

🔺 New And Improved. Following a productive rookie season, former Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks is doing more than just finding his footing with the Tennessee Titans. The first-round pick from 2022 is set to make a huge second-year jump with the two-toned blue, and his teammates are taking notice of his progress. Read up on how Burks’ offseason has been going, and what it means for the upcoming season.

🔺 Bryce’s Big Play. We’re now 82 days from the start of Arkansas’ football season. 82 yards is how far Bryce Stephens ran when taking back a fourth-quarter punt last season against Missouri State, the longest play the Hogs had all season. Stephens’ big play put Arkansas out in front in what would become a 38-27 win. Go back to that exciting night in Razorback Stadium in this episode of The Follow, only on HogsPlus.com.
