🔺 Stark Statement. Arkansas baseball has had great success against Mississippi State in recent years and will look to continue that trend this weekend. The Diamond Hogs are looking to lock up back-to-back series wins in Starkville for only the second time in program history.
Up first on the mound for Arkansas is Hagen Smith. The sophomore is 6-1 on the year and leads the Razorbacks in ERA (2.64) and strikeouts (71) while limited opposing hitters to a minuscule .187 batting average.

🔺 Still Streaking. Arkansas softball closes out its regular season with one final road series against Missouri. It’s not only an opportunity to put a bow on such a spectacular regular season, it’s yet another chance for to extend its’ SEC road series winning streak. The Hogs have won 11 consecutive road series against conference opponents, and can extend it to 12 with two wins in Columbia. The Razorbacks kick things off in a primetime 7pm slot on SEC Network Plus.
🔺 One Last Run. It’s senior day for Arkansas track and field as the Arkansas Twilight will be the final competition for the Razorbacks prior to the SEC Championships next week. Senior athletes will be recognized prior to the start of the running events, and the day will serve as a deciding factor as to who will represent the Arkansas women’s SEC Championship squad. Check out the full list of competitors here.
🔺 Tip Of The Cap. The newest member of the SEC Community Service Team is Arkansas women’s golf’s Ffion Tynan. As Arkansas’ representative on the team and one of 14 among SEC women’s golfers to be honored with the award, Ffion is one of the leaders in community service hours among all student-athletes at Arkansas. The sophomore from Wales has volunteered at events of all kinds this year, like head coach Shauna Taylor’s Choose Confidence program, in which she’s been assisting with clinics, seminars and events to give kids the tools and knowledge to grow their self-confidence.
🔺 First Service. The No. 42 Arkansas women’s tennis team is set to take on the No. 21 Washington Huskies in its third-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Hogs and Huskies have faced off twice before, with the Razorbacks coming out on top both times. The two last met in the 2011 ITA National Indoor Championships where the Hogs defeated the Huskies in a 4-0 decision. The Round of 64 match begins this afternoon at noon.
