📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Salem Fairway Trials. Arkansas men’s golf has clinched a spot in its 29th NCAA Regional as a team. The 35th-ranked Razorbacks will be the No. 6 seed at the NCAA Salem, (S.C.) Regional, played May 15-17 at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls – Lake Course, in their 15th straight NCAA Regional. SEC rival and 14th-ranked Texas A&M will be competing alongside the Hogs, as well as nine additional top-100 teams. Check out the full regional field here.

🔺 Caleb Cali Appreciation. Because the Diamond Hogs’ best hitter in SEC play deserves the spotlight right now.

Since beginning conference play six weeks ago, Caleb has been Arkansas baseball’s go-to guy at the plate. He leads the Razorbacks in batting average (.364), home runs (5), and slugging percentage (.691) in his 17 games played against conference opponents. He tallied four hits, and five runs in Arkansas’ latest SEC series sweep over Texas A&M.

Caleb and the Hogs are back on the road tomorrow to begin a weekend series against Mississippi State.

🔺 Putting the “A” in Student Athlete. For the ninth consecutive report, the University of Arkansas exceeds the benchmark Academic Progress Rate (APR) multiyear rate of 930 in all 19 of its intercollegiate sport programs. All programs eclipsed the benchmark by at least 29 points with 13 programs besting the 930 benchmark by 42 points or more.

Six Razorback programs recorded improvements in single year APR rates from last year. Women’s basketball led the way, improving its single year APR rate by 62 points. Men’s track and field (+59), women’s tennis (+59), men’s golf (+27), baseball (+20) and football (+13) also registered increases in single year rates. Seven additional programs maintained the same perfect single year APR rate of 1,000 from last year.

🔺 Takin’ A Road Trip. The ONE Razorback Roadshow is returning later this month, traveling across the Natural State to connect with Razorback fans of all ages. Roadshow events will include public receptions where fans can gather to interact with members of Razorback Athletics, and have the opportunity to potentially win exclusive autographed items, game tickets, sideline passes and more along with taking home some free promotional items including the 2023 Razorback Football Schedule poster. Check out who’s gonna be on the bus here!
