📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Sweet Three Peat. Conference accolades are nothing new for Rojé Stona, as the senior took home his third consecutive SEC Field Athlete of the Week honor this week, while his teammate Jaydown Hibbert captured the SEC Freshman of the Week accolade. Rojé has been on an absolute tear this past month. He tossed a new career-best discuss throw at the LSU Invitational last weekend that now puts him No. 4 on the all-time collegiate list.

Razorback track and field has had the whole nation on notice. Ackera Nugent earned the women’s National Athlete of the Week honor as well as SEC Runner of the Week following a 12.52 winning performance in the 100m hurdles as she raced in the same track and field venue that will host the conference meet in two weeks. She also defeated the defending NCAA champion in the event.

🔺 Lockdown On The Mound. For 9.2 innings, Razorback softball’s Hannah Camenzind had Tennessee in a pickle. The southpaw allowed just one run and struck out three during the Hogs’ two wins over the Volunteers. Her performances on a national broadcast were more than enough to earn her third SEC Freshman of the Week honors of the season. Hannah is an impressive 4-2 with a 2.37 ERA in her first season in Fayetteville. She’s 3-1 in SEC play alone.

🔺 Riding Solo. Following Arkansas women’s tennis’ selection to the 2023 NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship, Razorbacks Kelly Keller and Carolina Gomez Alonso earned at-large selections for their chance at an individual championship. The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 22-27 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida, after the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 17-20.

🔺 The Mayor of College Golf. It’s a title that very much suits Julian Perico. The Razorback senior knows almost everybody in the golf world, as his big smile and fun-loving personality go a long way. “Juli” is wrapping up his decorated Razorback career, which includes holding the course record at Blessings Golf Club and one of the best scoring averages in program history. Learn more about his story in the latest episode of the Hog Pod.
