Good morning. And a shoutout to the city of Fayetteville for once again ranking at the top of all SEC towns in the U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Places to Live” list. Fayetteville came in at No. 10 out of all U.S. cities, but it’s No. 1 in out hearts. Long live The Hill.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Keep Pouring It On. The No. 6 seed Razorbacks men’s golf team are absolutely on fire down in South Carolina. Arkansas posted a 17-under-par round of 271 at the NCAA Salem Regional to extend its lead to seven strokes after 36 holes with a two-day total of 537 (-39). Tuesday’s team total of 271 featured all five golfers shooting under par, which has never happened before in program history at an NCAA Regional. Just like on Monday, the Hogs re-wrote their own record book as the 39-under-par 537 is the program’s lowest for a 36-hole start in a 54-hole event.

Individually, Segundo Oliva Pinto set the school record for the best 36-hole score in relation to par at -12 while his total of 132 ties for the fifth-best. His start of 65-67 is the best opening rounds by a Razorback in a Regional. Segundo, Wil Gibson, and Mateo Fernández de Oliviera are all in the top 10 of the individual leaderboard.

🔺 Clear Choices. Two Razorback track athletes earned National Athlete of the Week honors for their success at last weekend’s SEC Outdoor Championships. Britton Wilson earned her weekly honor after defending her unprecedented SEC Outdoor titles in dramatic fashion with a pair of collegiate records and world-leading times. With a 49.13 in the 400m and 53.28 in the 400m hurdles, Britton produced the world’s best ever one-day double for those events. Jaydon Hibbert added nearly a full foot to the previous collegiate triple jump record on his way to claiming his accolade. He now owns the world-leading mark of 58-7.5 (17.87) after winning the event over the weekend, and also broke the 41-year-old collegiate record in the process.

🔺 Two Is Better Than One. Softball success was far from a certainty for Hannah and Lauren Camenzind. In fact, playing for one of the top programs in the nation seemed farfetched during their early days on the diamond. Many years later, they’re both making an impact for the Razorback softball team as freshmen. Sit down with the Camenzind twins as they tell their story to Bo Mattingly in the latest episode of the Hog Pod.

🔺 Hunter Gatherer. By earning national pitcher of the week honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, Hunter Hollan has added a third accolade for his complete game performance against South Carolina from over the weekend. Hunter was named the SEC Pitcher of the Week as well as the Perfect Game/Rawlings Pitcher of the Week earlier this week as well. He racked up a career-best 10 strikeouts on a career-high 113 pitchers on Sunday against the Gamecocks.
