🔺 Grand As It Gets. There’s a new single-season home run record holder and her name is Bri Ellis! She hit her 26th home run of the season in grand fashion. After Ellis was walked twice and hit by a pitch, the bases were loaded in tied 1-1 game in the bottom of the seventh inning. The Georgia Bulldogs were forced to pitch to the potential National Player of the Year and she made them pay with a grand slam to walk it off! The Razorbacks won 5-1 to advance to the SEC Tournament quarterfinals where they’ll face Tennessee. The Hogs and the Vols will play today at approximately 12:30 p.m. on SEC Network.

🔺 To The ‘Ship. The women’s golf team placed second at the NCAA Columbus Regional and will advance to the NCAA Championship! The Razorbacks shot 3-under throughout the event, with their best round coming yesterday at 7-under. Maria José Marin and Clarisa Temelo tied for second at 4-under.

🔺 Root Around. Arkansas ace Zach Root has been named the NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week! He threw eight scoreless innings and a career-high 11 strikeouts on Thursday against No. 1 Texas. He held the Longhorns to no runs.
