What started as a simple interaction in the Hog Pen turned into something much bigger. Arkansas outfielder Maika Niu and 10-year-old Razorback fan Jaci Estep formed a special bond through baseball, shared struggles with celiac disease, and a “two down” tradition that means more than either of them expected.

🔺 AloHogs Weekend. No. 17 Arkansas baseball hosts No. 24 Oklahoma in a three-game SEC baseball series at Baum-Walker Stadium this weekend. The series, the first between the teams as conference opponents, begins tonight at 6 p.m. on SEC Network+. It’s AloHogs weekend and the vibes will be right with special music, performances, and giveaways.

🔺 Fell Short. No. 5 Razorback softball fell to No. 3 Alabama 7-1 in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals yesterday. The Hogs took a 1-0 lead when Tianna Bell scored on a passed ball in the fourth, but it was all the Razorbacks could do. Arkansas will learn its postseason fate on Sunday at 6 p.m. during the Selection Show on ESPN2.

🔺 All-Conference Hogs. Razorback sophomore men’s golfers Gerardo Gomez and Erich Fortlage were voted second team All-SEC. They share the team lead in scoring average and have helped Arkansas achieve a historically best season.
