Enjoy the story of the 1985 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team, a squad that not only made a deep College World Series run but also set a new standard for the program’s future success. Through interviews with former head coach Norm DeBriyn and key players, the story highlights how this team was groundbreaking, fielding five Black starters in Omaha, a rare and significant moment in college baseball history. Their legacy continues to influence Razorback baseball today.

🔺 Nobody Better. Razorback softball’s Bri Ellis has been named the 2025 USA Softball National Player of the Year! She becomes the first Razorback to earn the sport’s highest honor. She homered once every 5.15 at-bats, while walking once every 3.17 plate appearances. Her numbers have been compared to the great Barry Bonds and Jocelyn Alo. She will now turn to professional softball, where she will play in the AUSL for the Talons.

🔺 All-American Girls. Razorback softball produced two D1 Softball All-Americans! Bri Ellis earned first team honors, while Robyn Herron was named to the second team. The duo earned All-America honors from Softball America last week.
Additionally, Karlie Davison and Raigan Kramer joined Herron on the CSC Academic All-District Team.

🔺 But Wait, There’s More. The All-American honors continue to roll in as four Razorback women’s golfers earned WGCA All-American awards. National Champion Maria José Marin earned first team honors, while Kendall Todd landed on the second team. Clarisa Temelo and Reagan Zibilski were named honorable mentions.

🔺 Leading The Pack. The men’s track & field team sends a nation-leading 35 entries to the NCAA West First Round that begins today! The top 12 in each event at the meet will advance to the NCAA Championships. Fans can keep up with the action on ESPN+. Click here to see all of the entrants!

🔺 New Hog On The Block. The men’s tennis team has signed Ben Weintraub, who spent his freshman season at Florida. He went 4-3 in singles and 8-6 in doubles last season.
