📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Direct Your Attention. The latest updated standings for the Learfield Directors’ Cup has Arkansas knocking on the door of the top 10. The Hogs are currently ranked 11th in the April update thanks to Indoor Championships from both men’s and women’s track and field teams, and men’s basketball making the Sweet 16 for a third-straight year. Arkansas has 581.5 points and ranks third among the six SEC programs in the top 25 of the latest standings.

🔺 International Waters. Arkansas swimmers Betsy Wizard and Andrea Sansores captured wins in their international debuts for the 2023 season. Andrea won the 50-meter backstroke and 50-meter butterfly at the Mexico Swimming Nationals, while Betsy won the C-Final in the British Swimming Championship with a personal-best time of 27.66.

🔺 Keep It Going. Arkansas soccer is back on the pitch tonight in an exhibition vs. Oral Roberts. The Razorbacks have played in two exhibitions this spring and have yet to concede a goal, winning 2-0 vs. Mizzou and then 4-0 vs. Kansas State last week. Tonight is the last friendly being played at Razorback Field before the fall, and admission is free to the public!

🔺 Double Trouble. It’s a big weekend for both Arkansas tennis squads. The fellas are on the road with two conference matchups against No. 17 Auburn today, and No. 14 Mississippi State on Sunday. Back at Billingsley Tennis Center, the ladies will host Auburn today, and Alabama on Sunday. Freshman Carolina Gomez is currently riding a four-match win streak and has since moved into the top 50 of the latest ITA Rankings.

🔺 Out Of Left Field. Arkansas baseball didn’t get to play yesterday, but outfielder Jared Wegner still brought home some good news. Jared has been named a midseason All-American by D1Baseball after slashing .370/.496/.800 with 12 home runs and 43 RBI in his first 28 games as a Razorback. Jared is still batting .323 since SEC play began, and has also yet to commit and error defensively. Three Razorbacks have now been tabbed to midseason All-America teams this season. Pitchers Hunter Hollan and Hagen Smith were named midseason All-Americans by Perfect Game.
