🎙️ THE HOG POD
Robyn Herron didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a Razorback—but after sharing a pitching coach with Arkansas legend Mary Haff, fate had other plans. In this episode, Robyn dives into her unexpected path to Fayetteville, the recruiting call that changed everything, and how her relationship with Coach Deifel helped shape her into one of the most dominant pitchers in program history. She reflects on the pressure of SEC play, the thrill of throwing a perfect game, and the leadership role she’s embraced on a team full of rising stars. With honesty, grit, and a little humor, Robyn gives fans an inside look at the mindset behind her record-setting performances—and what drives her when she steps into the circle.

🔺 The Journey Continues. Two Razorbacks heard their names called in the third round of the NFL Draft! Isaac TeSlaa was the first Hog off the board as the Detroit Lions picked him up at 70th overall. Landon Jackson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills just two picks later. This becomes the 30th consecutive NFL Draft that Razorbacks have been picked.
After the draft, eight Razorbacks signed free agent deals. Andrew Armstrong signed with the Miami Dolphins, while fellow receiver Tyrone Broden signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Hudson Clark signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, Eric Gregory signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, and Marquise Robinson signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Three Razorbacks signed deals with the Jacksonville Jaguars — Ja’Quinden Jackson, Keivie Rose, and Doneiko Slaughter.

🔺 Road Hogs. No. 9 Razorback softball took the series from No. 1/2 Texas A&M on the road! They started the weekend with a 7-5 win over the Aggies behind home runs from Courtney Day and Ella McDowell. It was Coach Courtney Deifel’s 350th win at Arkansas. The winning continued on Saturday as the Razorbacks downed the home team 7-4. Bri Ellis hit two home runs to mark her sixth career multi-homer game. She’s just one home run shy of tying Braxton Burnside’s single-season record of 25. The Hogs fell in a 2-0 pitcher’s duel on Sunday. They left College Station with their highest-ranked series win in program history.

🔺 Moving On. The Razorback baseball team took one of three from Florida in Gainesville over the weekend. Arkansas fell to Florida 6-4 on Friday, but bounced back to get a 7-0 win on Saturday. Gage Wood was dominant on the mound for three innings. Three pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts in the shutout. It was the first time Arkansas shutout Florida in program history. The Razorbacks couldn’t secure the win in Sunday’s rubber match, as they fell 9-5.
