Razorback Brew 3/28: Try and keep up

Today, a busy afternoon awaits the Arkansas women's track team.

Good Morning. Arkansas takes the diamond tonight against a top-ranked rival, and we’ve got so much more action to get to at the Texas Relays.

But first, check out this absolute posterization from former Razorback Isaiah Joe last night.

Here’s what we have for in today’s Brew:

🎥 Ryder Helfrick’s heroics
🏃‍♀️ Sun up to sun down
🐗 And so much more!

🎥 HOG VLOG: AUBURN

Dugout diaries. Take a front-row seat with Peyton Holt, Ben Bybee, Hagen Smith, and the rest of the Arkansas Razorback baseball team as they win a series on the road against the 23rd-ranked Auburn Tigers. From the madness following Ryder Helfrick's moonshot, to Hagen's continued dominance on the mound, you get to see what it's like from the player's perspective.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Spectacular Six. Coming off a record conference championship performance last week, six Gymbacks have been named All-SEC.

Maddie Jones, Hailey Klein, Frankie Price, Leah Smith, Cami Weaver and Lauren Williams all received all-conference nods after they earned one of the top two scores (including ties) on their respective events in the afternoon session of Saturday’s SEC Championships in New Orleans. Six ties the program record for Gymbacks on the All-SEC list in a single season, and is the most in head coach Jordyn Wieber’s five-year tenure.

🔺 Changing of the Arms. Arkansas’ top-ranked baseball team is squaring off against eighth-ranked LSU, the second-highest ranked opponent on their schedule thus far, in a three-game series beginning this evening at 6pm on SEC Network. Skipper Dave Van Horn discusses a slight change to his starting pitching rotation and much more in his preview presser.

🔺 Try and Keep Up. Day two of the Texas Relays features plenty of Razorbacks. Marin Chamberlin and Hannah Estes will hit the pole vault at 2:30pm, and Rachel Glenn will take part in the 400m hurdles at 4:30pm. In the evening, Analisse Batista, Ainsley Erzen, and Sanu Jallow will all compete in the 800m Invitational at 7pm, and Mary Ellen Eudaly and Chachi Gonzales will run in the A section of the 1,500m at 7:40pm.

🔺 Sweet Stroke. After his runner-up finish at this week’s Valspar Collegiate Invitational, Razorback senior Christian Castillo was named SEC co-Golfer of the Week along with Vanderbilt’s Matthew Riedel and Missouri’s Jack Lundin. Christian shot 9-under down in Palm City, FL thanks to a pair of 67s earlier in the week in what was just the second time he made the Hogs’ lineup this season. 67 remains his second-best round in a college event.

🔺 Drive For Five. Arkansas Edge, the official Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective of the Arkansas Razorbacks, announced today the launch of their “Drive for Five” membership campaign, which seeks to increase the collective’s fan membership club to 5,000 members and grow NIL support for Razorback student-athletes by offering fans a stake in their favorite team’s success. The collective will unlock exclusive benefits and giveaways for members throughout the Drive for Five event, including VIP experiences, discounts with local businesses, signed memorabilia, and more. Learn all about it here.

🤝 BETTER TOGETHER

It starts with YOU! Per NCAA guidelines, funding for NIL cannot come from University or Athletic Department funds or other traditional athletic fundraising endeavors. Instead, it must come from the fans, supporters and businesses of this proud state and fanbase. Here is how you can help us Bring The Edge:
