Today, we're going yard four times in Baum-Walker.

Good Morning. The Diamond Hogs only needed seven innings to secure victory No. 20 on the season. Oh yeah, this Brew’s about to be a home run. You’ll see why.

Bobby Petrino is back in the building. Arkansas’ new offensive coordinator sits down with Tera Talmadge to give us an update on spring practice and what it's like being back in Fayetteville.

🏀 ELITE EXCITEMENT

It’s the 30th anniversary of Arkansas’ Elite Eight victory over Michigan. The Hogs faced four of the original “Fab Five” Wolverines in the Midwest Regional Final and came out on top, 76-68. Scotty Thurman led the way with 20 points and went 4-8 from three-point range.

Relive all 40 minutes of action as the Razorbacks punched their ticket to the Final Four, only on Hogs+.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Homerin’ Hogs. Baum-Walker Stadium couldn’t contain the Diamond Hogs Tuesday afternoon as top-ranked Arkansas belted four home runs in an 11-0 run-rule win over in-state rival Little Rock.

Peyton Stovall, Wehiwa Aloy, Jack Wagner, and Will Edmunson each went yard in the Razorbacks’ lopsided victory, and combined for 10 of Arkansas’ 11 runs batted in. Wehiwa’s home run was the Hogs’ fourth grand slam of the season. On the mound, Ben Bybee, Dylan Carter, Christian Foutch, and Stone Hewlett combined for a seven-inning two-hitter.

The Razorbacks return to SEC play this weekend with a top-10 showdown in Fayetteville. First pitch in Thursday’s series opener between top-ranked Arkansas and eighth-ranked LSU at Baum-Walker Stadium is set for 6 pm on ESPN2.

🔺 Finally Outside. Arkansas women’s track and field opens the outdoor season today with the 96th Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium. The Razorbacks are entered in seven relay events from today through Saturday, and it starts with Sara Van Aken taking part in the heptathlon today and Thursday. Sara’s career best of 5,456 points in the heptathlon was set in placing fifth in the 2023 SEC Championships.

🔺 Balancing Act. For the second consecutive year, Arkansas Gymback Maddie Jones was been named to the SEC Community Service Team. On top of being a member of Arkansas’ student-athlete advisory committee since 2021, she serves as SAAC’s community relations chair, is heavily involved with outreach programs in the Northwest Arkansas area, and is a key player in continuing Arkansas’ GiveBack initiative. Hear how Maddie balances all of her hard work in this episode of the Hog Pod.

🔺 Back To Work. Arkansas football returned to the practice fields yesterday for the resumption of spring practices. They’ll even have their first open to the public practice this Saturday. Defensive linemen Cam Ball, Nico Davillier, and newly arrived transfer running back Ja’Quinden Jackson talked to the media yesterday to discuss the early days of practice.

🔺 Clubbing Up. The 13th-ranked Arkansas men’s golf team was 7-under par in the final round of the Valspar Collegiate Invitational and moved up one spot to finish fourth with a 54-hole score of 843 (-9). Senior Razorback Christian Castillo was runner-up, his best performance of the season and his third career second-place finish.

The Razorbacks tied the winners of the tournament, Florida State, in par-5 scoring at -27. Castillo led the field by playing the par-5’s at -11.
