🔺 All Tuned Up. The top-ranked Arkansas baseball club wrapped up non-conference play with its 10th straight win Tuesday evening. Arkansas came out on top, 4-2, over Oral Roberts thanks to freshman Colin Fisher’s fourth win on the year. Colin tossed three scoreless innings and dropped his ERA down to 1.26 on the season.

At the plate, Peyton Stovall notched a two-run single as part of the Diamond Hogs’ three-run second inning, with Wehiwa Aloy bringing in the third run later on with an RBI single of his own. Kendall Diggs’ homer in the fifth provided enough breathing room for the rest of the night.

Arkansas will host Missouri on SEC Opening Weekend inside the friendly confines for Baum-Walker Stadium. First pitch in the series opener between the Razorbacks and Tigers is 6:30pm this Friday, March 15, on SEC Network Plus.

🔺 Strong History. Arkansas men’s basketball is 5-1 vs. Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament, including a 2-1 mark in games played in Nashville. The Hogs will go for another victory over the Commodores tonight at 6pm on SEC Network. Click here for a full preview of tonight’s tilt.

🔺 Ground Game Advisor. Former NFL running back and NFL assistant coach Kolby Smith has been named Arkansas’ new running backs coach by Head Coach Sam Pittman. Following a four-year career in the NFL as a running back, Smith began his coaching career as a graduate assistant for the Razorbacks in 2012 before joining Bobby Petrino’s staff at Western Kentucky as the Hilltoppers’ running backs coach in 2013. Click here to learn the extent of Smith’s football history with Petrino.

🔺 Especially Special. After another solid outing for the No. 12 Gymbacks, sophomore Lauren Williams has been named SEC Co-Specialist of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. The Rogers, AR native delivered two big routines for Arkansas on Sunday with matching scores of 9.925 on vault and floor. The mark was good for her sixth vault title of the season and a share of third place on floor. The SEC honor is Arkansas’ first of the season, and first Specialist of the Week designation since Maggie O’Hara in 2021.

🔺 First to Base. Following her dominant stretch of games last weekend, junior first baseman Bri Ellis has been named SEC Player of the Week.

Bri paced Arkansas with a .636 batting average, seven hits, six RBI, .643 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage across four games at the Razorback Rumble. She also added flawless defense at first with 24 putouts, one assist, one double play and a 1.000 fielding percentage. The Houston product also tied her career high in hits after going 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored in the Hogs’ 10-4 win vs. South Alabama on March 9.
