🎙 THE HOG POD

Kelsi Musick has been named the 10th women's basketball coach at the University of Arkansas! Bo Mattingly sits down with her as she arrives on campus to discuss her incredible rise from small-town Oklahoma to coaching in the SEC. Hear how being raised on a farm shaped her, what she learned from coaching 13 seasons in DII, and why she will take the Hogs to the next level.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 How Sooiet It Is. Razorback men’s basketball is still alive! They advanced to the Sweet 16 after beating St. John’s 75-66. Billy Richmond led the Razorbacks with a career-high 16 points and nine rebounds. Karter Knox scored 15 points and a career-high four blocks, while Nelly Davis scored 13. Arkansas will place third-seed Texas Tech on Thursday in San Francisco.

🔺 Spring Sweeping. Razorback baseball swept South Carolina over the weekend! They improve to 23-2, their best 25-game start to a season in program history. They defeated the Gamecocks in a 12-2 run-rule on Friday, led by Zach Root’s seven-inning complete game and Wehiwa Aloy’s walk-off three-run homer. They won 12-3 on Saturday behind an eight-run first inning. The offense stayed powerful on Sunday as Arkansas secured an 11-4 series-sweeping win. Brent Iredale hit a grand slam and Ryder Helfrick launched two home runs.

🔺 Rocky Toppled. Razorback softball took the series at No. 7 Tennessee! They defeated the Vols 6-3 in extra innings on Saturday as Robyn Herron tied the school record with 16 strikeouts. The Hogs went on to win again on Sunday, 9-0. Payton Burnham spun 6.1 scoreless innings. Courtney Day hit her second home run of the weekend, while Karlie Davison hit one of her own. The series finale will be played tonight at 6 p.m. on SEC Network.

🔺 New Head Hog. Arkansas has hired Kelsi Musick to be the 10th head coach of Razorback women’s basketball! She comes to Arkansas after spending the last three seasons at Oral Roberts, where she led the team to postseason appearances in the last two seasons. Musick is known for her fast-paced, dribble-drive offense.
