📈 STOCK UP

🔺 We love to see a HanGam Slam. Arkansas softball announced the largest home opening day crowd in program history with 2,824 fans in attendance to watch the Razorbacks shutout Illinois State, 7-0, thanks to three Hog pitchers allowing a combined five hits on the day. All seven runs, three of which were driven in from Hannah Gammill’s third home run of the season, were scored in the first three innings.

Improving to 9-2 on the season, the Hogs clinched their eighth consecutive home opener win, dating back to 2017.

🔺 Heavy Is The Crown. The top-ranked Arkansas women’s track team and third-ranked men’s team are hosting the SEC Indoor Championships today inside Randal Tyson Track Center. This marks the first time since 2010-11 that the Arkansas women have hosted the SEC Indoor Championships in consecutive seasons. They will be looking for their 10th consecutive title while the fellas go for their fifth in a row.

🔺 Welcoming All. The 16th-ranked Arkansas gymnastics team is finally back home this evening after four meets on the road. The Gymbacks will welcome sixth-ranked Kentucky in Barnhill Arena tonight for a 7:15pm start time on SEC Network. The Wildcats are currently in a tie for first place in the SEC at 4-1, while the Razorbacks are tied with Alabama for second place in the conference with a 2-2-1 record. The meet is also Arkansas’ third annual Equality Night, which celebrates fans of all races, abilities, religion, genders and sexual orientations, as well as an expression of our commitment to the equal treatment and inclusion of all.

🔺 Fly & Dive. Following strong performances in Thursday’s prelims, Razorback swimmers and divers capped off the third day of the SEC Championships with a Bella Cothern fourth-place finish in the B-Final of the 100 Fly and a spectacular Malea Martinez seventh-place finish in the A-Final of 1-meter diving. In prelims, Maddy Hartley, and Betsy Wizard all posted NCAA B-Cut times in the 100 Fly with Bella securing a spot in the B-Final with a time of 52.52 which is a lifetime-best for the senior Jonesboro, Arkansas native.
