🎙️ HOG POD: TREVON BRAZILE

Coming back stronger. It didn’t take long for Trevon Brazile, the high-flying Missouri transfer quickly became a fan favorite after joining Eric Musselman's squad in 2022. His eye-catching dunks and unique personal style cemented him as a player to watch for the Hogs. But after suffering a season-ending ACL tear, Brazile's future was in question. In this episode of the Hog Pod, we take you behind the injury, his return, and everything in between.

🐗 DAN SKIPPER’S GOT HANDS

In the Detroit Lions’ final game of the regular season, former Arkansas offensive tackle Dan Skipper flashed his receiving skills with a crafty four-yard catch and run. It’s just another unique moment in the amazing football journey Skipper has taken.

🏀 COURTSIDE WITH COACH MUSS

Head Hog Eric Musselman and host Chuck Barrett discuss the Razorbacks SEC opening loss to the Auburn Tigers from Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. Coach Musselman also talks about the schedule up to this point in the season including the huge win over the Duke Blue Devils.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 40-Point Dash. SEC win No. 1 for Arkansas women’s basketball came in an emphatic manner as the Hogs cruised past Georgia, 83-43. The 40-point victory marked the third largest margin in an SEC game in school history, while also tying a season best margin of victory.

The 83 points the Razorbacks put up marked the most points the Bulldogs have given up in a game this season. Four Hogs finished in double figures in scoring, led by Makayla Daniels’ season-high 24 points. The Hogs were also hot from beyond the arc, matching a season-high 14 triples, while holding Georgia to 27% shooting from the field. Arkansas also snapped a four-game losing streak to the Bulldogs and tallied its seventh win against Georgia in the series.

🔺 Holding Court. Arkansas men’s tennis head coach Jay Udwadia has announced the team’s 2024 spring schedule, which begins this week in Hawaii! The Razorbacks are slated to play 30 dual matches with 14 in Fayetteville at Billingsley Tennis Center. The schedule features 14 matches against 2023 NCAA Tournament teams and the Hogs will face seven top-25 opponents featured in the ITA preseason team rankings. Check out the full slate here.

🔺 Southpaw Style. Arkansas starting pitcher Hagen Smith has been named a preseason first-team All-American by Perfect Game. The left-hander is the first Razorback pitcher to be named a preseason first-team All-American by Perfect Game since Zach Jackson earned preseason first-team All-America recognition as a relief pitcher in 2016.

Hagen, who posted an 8-2 record with a 3.64 ERA and a team-leading 109 strikeouts last year, is also the first Hog to earn Perfect Game preseason first-team All-America honors as a starting pitcher since Ryne Stanek in 2013.
