Today, we Walk on Air like Michael Qualls.

Good Morning. Arkansas men’s basketball looks for its first SEC road win tonight, and we’re re-living one of the most electrifying moments in Razorback basketball history. What a day for Hog hoops past and present.

🎥 WALK ON AIR

Sensational. Amazing. Mind-boggling. This is the story, behind the untold story, of one of the most exciting plays in Razorback history. Ten years after Michael Qualls beat the buzzer with a rim-rattling dunk to defeat Kentucky, “Walk on Air” – the latest short film from Hogs+ – re-lives this iconic moment and all that transpired afterward. The film features original interviews with Qualls plus Mike Anderson, Jimmy Dykes, Kikko Haydar, Matt Zimmerman, and Rod Winkler.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Hump Day Hoops. Arkansas men’s basketball got its first SEC win of the season last week, and will look for its first league road victory tonight at Ole Miss. The Razorbacks have won nine out of their last 10 meetings against the Rebels, including the last two in Mississippi, but Ole Miss is an undefeated 11-0 at home this season.

Tip-off from Oxford is at 8pm with the broadcast happening on ESPNU.

🔺 Diamond Dozen. Arkansas softball earned a No. 12 ranking in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Preseason Poll that was published Tuesday, making it three consecutive years the Hogs posted a top-15 preseason ranking and the sixth straight year the Razorbacks have been ranked inside the ESPN.com/USA Softball Preseason Poll under head coach Courtney Deifel. The Razorbacks are one of 10 SEC programs to garner a spot in the poll, the most by any conference.

🔺 Shorter Memory Wins. A quick turnaround is on the mind of Head Coach Mike Neighbors as the Arkansas women’s basketball team hosts Kentucky tomorrow evening. Neighbors gives an update on freshman star Taliah Scott, his thoughts on matching up with the Wildcats’ physicality, and more in his weekly presser.

🔺 Perfect Entries. Multiple NCAA qualifying scores helped earn Arkansas’ Anna Arnautova SEC Women’s Diver of the Week honors. Anna won both springboard events at the Arkansas Diving Classic, posting scores of 330.30 on 1-meter and 342.60 on 3-meter. The freshman diver has been dominant in both springboard events, having posted NCAA qualifying scores at the Stanford and Missouri State meets, among others.

🔺 Academic Weapon. Whether he was on the field or in the lecture hall, Hudson Clark got the job done and more. Hudson was named a First-Team Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators, becoming the 21st Razorback in school history to earn the honor.

Clark recorded 51 tackles with a career-best 4.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, one interception and a fumble recovery while playing in all 12 games with 10 starts at multiple positions in the Arkansas secondary. He is currently enrolled in the Walton College of Business and pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a 3.6 GPA.
