🔺 Bow Down To Him. Arkansas triple jumper Jaydon Hibbert is your 2023 Bowerman award winner! Jaydon becomes the second-ever Razorback to take home the most prestigious individual award in college track and field.

Jaydon’s first year at Arkansas was nothing short of dominant. He put together an undefeated collegiate season in the triple jump, which included a sweep of SEC and NCAA titles as well as breaking decades old collegiate and world U20 records while finishing the year as world leader.

At just 18 years of age, Jaydon is the first freshman to win the men’s honor and becomes the youngest winner overall, male or female. He is also the first Jamaican to claim the award.

With Jaydon joining Jarrion Lawson (2016) as Razorback winners of The Bowerman, Arkansas is now the fourth school to have a pair of men’s winners, joining Florida State, Florida, and Oregon.

🔺 Pass The Rock. Arkansas men’s basketball will have its second straight, neutral-site game with a heavy Razorback influence when facing the Lipscomb Bisons on Saturday (Dec. 16) at a sold-out Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock. This will be the third meeting between Arkansas and Lipscomb with the Hogs winning the previous two encounters. Tipoff is set for 5pm and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network Plus. Check out the full preview and other pregame notes here.

🔺 Ladies First. Before the fellas take the court in NLR, the Razorback women’s basketball team will take on Samford in Simmons Bank Arena at 12:30pm, and SEC Network Plus will carry the broadcast. With a record of 8-3, the Hogs have been paced by freshman star Taliah Scott, who’s taken home the last four SEC Freshman of the Week honors and is averaging a 24.5 points per game in her first 11 contests. 🔺 Unlimited Potential. Razorback softball was one of several programs during the fall season to take inspiration from AU Pro Softball. Former Razorback and current assistant coach Danielle Gibson Whorton knows a thing or two about it—she did play in AU for two seasons after her legendary Arkansas playing career concluded. 🔺 Mama I’m On TV! Meet times and TV broadcast info for the upcoming Arkansas gymnastics season are officially locked in.

The Gymbacks will appear on national television four times in the 2024 regular season, all on SEC Network. Three of those will be road meets, and one at home. SEC Network will also be the home for SEC Gymnastics Championships coverage, and the channel will air both sessions live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on March 23, 2024.
