📈 STOCK UP

🔺 You already know what time it is. That’s right, it’s time for another SEC Freshman of the Week honor for Arkansas’ Taliah Scott. It’s the fourth week in a row the phenom has earned the honor, which makes her the first women’s basketball player in league history to do so.

Taliah is coming off this week having averaged 30.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in the team’s two games this past week. She had her most productive shooting performance against Louisiana Tech by shooting 75% from the field, and 62.5% from beyond the arc to finish with 29 points. Scott followed that up with 31 points off a career-high six 3-pointers against UAPB, while matching a career-high six rebounds and adding two assists.

🔺 Let’s Get Festive. Another exciting season of Razorback Gymnastics is now less than a month away, and promotions for the 2024 home slate are officially set. Arkansas will have five regular season home meets between Barnhill Arena and Bud Walton Arena this season, with three against SEC opponents and two out of conference, including the reigning national champion Oklahoma Sooners. Each meet will have a theme, with two new concepts for the program and another a new variation of an annual theme. Click here to see the complete schedule of promotions and themes.

🔺 Like Father, Like Son. What’s it like growing up as the son of legendary golfer John Daly? In this episode of the Hog Pod, Clay Henry sits down with John Daly II right before the PNC Championship to find out his own golfing journey, along with some cool stories of John Sr. Plus, we get his thoughts on Charlie & Tiger Woods, and his emerging career as a Razorback.

🔺 Numbers Never Lie. We’re 10 games into the season for Arkansas men’s basketball. Now’s a good chance to check in on how the Hogs are looking on the stat sheet.

  • Despite coming off the bench in all 10 games, Khalif Battle leads the Hogs in scoring with a 16.4 points per game average. Khalif also leads the team in 3-pointers made (21) and is shooting an impressive 42% from beyond the arc.

  • Tramon Mark is right behind Khalif with a 16.0 points per game average, and has made 54% of his field goals.

  • Down on the low block, Trevon Brazile is the third Razorback scoring at least 10 points per contest (10.2) and also leads Arkansas in rebounds (7.1) and is tied for the team lead in blocks per game (1.7).

  • Devo Davis has played the most minutes per game (31.2). He’s also tied for the team high in assists per game (2.6).

Up next for the Hogs is their annual Little Rock game in Simmons Bank Arena. Arkansas takes on Lipscomb this Saturday at 5pm on SEC Network Plus.
