🎙️ THE HOG POD

In this episode of The Hog Pod, former Razorback great Darrell Walker takes us through his remarkable journey in basketball — one that spans from his early years growing up on the south side of Chicago to becoming a star at Arkansas, a ten-year NBA veteran, and now a respected coach. Walker discusses his time under Coach Eddie Sutton, his role as a defensive powerhouse, and his experiences winning an NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls.

He reflects on the challenges and triumphs of playing and coaching at every level of the game, offering a unique perspective on the sport that has shaped his life. From the Razorbacks to the NBA, to his current work as a coach at Arkansas-Little Rock, Darrell Walker’s rich history in basketball is a testament to his dedication, resilience, and deep connection to the game.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Snowball Fight. Arkansas lost the Battle Line Rivalry at Missouri, 28-21. The weather was less than ideal, as snow fell most of the day in cold Columbia. Ja’Quinden Jackson scored all three Razorback touchdowns, finishing the regular season with 15 rushing touchdowns. Cam Ball recorded a career-high seven tackles. Hear from Coach Pittman after the loss.

The Razorbacks are bowl eligible and will learn their fate on Sunday.

🔺 Family Affair. The 19th-ranked men’s basketball team fell 90-77 to Illinois in Kansas City on Thanksgiving Day. Twin brothers Zvonimir and Tomislav Ivisic faced each other for the first time in a family affair. The Razorbacks’ Zvonimir finished the day with 13 points, six rebounds, two blocks, and two steals. Illinois’ 11-0 run to start the day proved to be something that Arkansas could not bounce back from. Adou Thiero scored a career-high 26 points.

🔺 Double Trouble. The Razorback volleyball season has come to an end after a four-set loss to Oklahoma. Courtney Jackson was named All-SEC Second Team as one of the country’s best liberos. She led the team in digs and digs per set. Aniya Madkin was named SEC All-Freshman after leading Arkansas with 331 kills.
