🔺 More Support. Arkansas football announced the addition of three new staff members:

• Eddie Hicks will serve as the cornerbacks coach. He comes to Arkansas after coaching at Cincinnati, LSU, Jacksonville State, Charlotte, and Southern Miss. He has a proven track record of improving defenses, including leading Conference USA in passing defense at Southern Miss in 2018.

• Marion Hobby was named the defensive line coach, bringing a wealth of college and NFL experience. He previously coached at Tennessee, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Clemson, Duke, and New Orleans Saints. He has made a national championship and Super Bowl appearance.

• David Johnson will serve as the running backs coach. The former NFL running back joins the Arkansas staff from Florida State, where he coached running backs and served as recruiting coordinator since 2020. He helped Florida State lead the ACC in rushing yards and touchdowns in 2023. Johnson has a proven track record of developing talent, having coached 19 all-conference players throughout his career.

🔺 Bright Lights. The 14th-ranked men’s basketball team is spending the weekend in Newark, New Jersey for a big-time matchup. They’ll play No. 8 Houston tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. in the Never Forget Tribute Classic on CBS.
