🎥 REMEMBER YOUR HISTORY

Arkansas and Duke have met four times on the hardwood. Each team has won two games in the series. The rubber match is coming up shortly.

In anticipation of the Arkansas men’s basketball team’s matchup with Duke in the SEC/ACC Challenge, Hogs+ is coming out with a new original film–Dancing with the Devils–chronicling the history between the two programs.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Superb Start. The first five games of Arkansas freshman Taliah Scott’s career have been pretty much perfect. Taliah has helped lead the Hogs to a 5-0 start and is averaging a team-high 24.6 points per game. The SEC named her the Freshman of the Week for her three-game stretch last week in which she averaged 25.7 points per contest. This marks the third straight year head coach Mike Neighbors has had at least one of his freshmen noticed for the weekly award.

Taliah and the Razorbacks are down in Florida this weekend for the Fort Myers Tip-Off. Their first game will be against Wisconsin at 1pm on Friday.

🔺 Tropical Holiday. Southeast of Florida is where the Arkansas men’s basketball team is this week in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. The Hogs are playing Stanford tonight to wrap up day one action from Paradise Island with tip-off at 6:30pm on ESPNU. The Razorbacks will be back in Fayetteville in two weeks, and you can get your tickets for all games during holiday break here.

🔺 Raining Cats & Hogs. The fifth and final ranked match at Barnhill Arena goes down tonight as the the No. 9 Volley Hogs host the No. 10 Kentucky Wildcats in Arkansas’ final home contest of the season. The Razorbacks and Wildcats each have two regular season matches remaining, with Arkansas sitting at 14-2 in the SEC and Kentucky at 14-1. First serve is set for 7pm and the match will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus.

🔺 Big Steppin’. With the 2023 cross country season wrapped up, Arkansas took home South Central Region honors with men’s head coach Chris Bucknam named Coach of the Year and Patrick Kiprop the men’s Athlete of the Year. In the national championship race last weekend, Patrick finished seventh to earn a second consecutive All-America honor in cross country after placing 24th a year ago. Arkansas cross country took home another major award from the South Central Region honors as sophomore Sydney Thorvaldson was named the women’s Athlete of the Year.

Sydney took first in the South Central Region meet after placing sixth in the SEC Championships. She then placed 11th in the NCAA Championships to earn her first cross country All-America honor.
