🔺 Thrive & Advance. Arkansas soccer scored four goals to kick off its SEC Tournament run against Auburn, but only needed one as freshman goalkeeper Phoebe Carver made two saves and notched her fifth shutout in her 10th appearance. The Hogs got goals from four different players as Morgan White, Bea Franklin, Anna Podojil (her 50th of her illustrious career!), and freshman Kate Carter all found the back of the net. Kate’s goal was the first of her collegiate career; the exclamation point of the Razorbacks avenging their loss to the Tigers from less than a month ago.

Arkansas will face Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament semifinals tomorrow afternoon at 5pm, and the match will air on SEC Network.

🔺 One More For The Road. Fresh off their 20th win of the season, the Volley Hogs are closing out a three-match road trip against Georgia this evening. Arkansas has been away from Barnhill for over two weeks and have won three of their last four contests, all outside the Natural State. Tonight’s match will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus at 6pm.

🔺 Chat & Chow. Arkansas women’s basketball head coach Mike Neighbors makes his return to Mermaid’s Seafood Restaurant for another season of Lunch & Hoops. The first of four Lunch & Hoops events is set for Tuesday, November 21 with doors opening at 11:30am. Click here to view all of this year’s luncheon dates.

🔺 The Climb Persists. Under-recruited out of high school, Denijay Harris went the JUCO route, but after just two games, a major injury would end his next two seasons of hoops, and it was a struggle just to make it back. He would transfer to Southern Miss, and finally returned to game action in 2020. He would go on to help lead that program to a Sun Belt title last season. Seeking a fresh start, the 6-7 forward entered the transfer portal and landed at Arkansas, where he’s ready to write the next chapter of his comeback story. Hear his story in the latest episode of the Hog Pod.

🔺 Legacy Never Dies. The silver anniversary of the “Stoernover” kicks off the latest SEC Storied documentary, “True Character,” which focuses on the path of the 1998 Arkansas Razorbacks through two key players, QB Clint Stoerner and OL Brandon Burlsworth, leading up to and following their defeat against eventual national champion Tennessee. The film debuts on Tuesday, Nov. 14–the 25th anniversary of the game–at 9pm ET on SEC Network and is directed by David Beilinson.
