Razorback Brew 1/10: Eastbound & Up

Today, the Hogs are starting a mini SEC road trip.

Good morning. Grab some sunflower seeds and turn up the radio, because we’re going on the road for a few days. Arkansas men’s basketball is in the Peach State this evening looking to bounce back in SEC play, and a trip down to the Swamp is in order right afterwards.

Now, what has all been mixed into today’s Brew?

🎥 100 YEARS OF HOGS HOOPS

One century later. Almost exactly one year ago, Hogs+ took you back through the past 100 years of Razorback hoops.

From the earliest days of the program at Schmitty’s Barn, to the arrival of the Muss Bus. Featuring in-depth looks at the Sutton Era, the Rollin’ with Nolan days, and the run to the 1994 national championship, the documentary includes interviews and commentary from more than 15 of the biggest names in program history, including Nolan Richardson, Sidney Moncrief, Joe Kleine, and Scotty Thurman

100 Seasons of Arkansas Basketball” was nominated at the 47th Mid-America Emmy Awards, and it’s available to watch exclusively for Hogs+ members.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Eastbound & Up. Arkansas hits the road for back-to-back away games starting tonight at Georgia. Arkansas leads the all-time series 26-16 versus the Bulldogs, and has won three straight in the series and 10 of the last 13.

Tipoff is set for 8pm and the game will be televised on ESPNU. The Razorbacks will fly straight to Gainesville after the game at Georgia in preparation for Saturday’s contest at Florida.

🔺 Playin’ With Style. High-flying Missouri transfer Trevon Brazile quickly became a fan favorite after joining Eric Musselman’s squad in 2022. His eye-catching dunks and unique personal style cemented him as a player to watch for the Hogs. But, after suffering a season-ending ACL tear Trevon’s future was in question. In this episode of the Hog Pod, we take you behind the injury, his return and everything in between.

🔺 Opening The Pen. A new season for Arkansas softball is less than a month away. How will the Hogs handle pitching by committee? What’s to be expected of the newcomers in Bogle Park? Head coach Courtney Deifel answers these questions and much more in her first presser of the year.

🔺 Coming Together. “We're going to fight like family. We're going to talk like family, we're gonna love like family, but it's going to be like family. It's going to be a lot all at once.”

Tucker Clary has the right mindset entering his first full year as head coach of the Arkansas women’s tennis team, and his players are buying in as well. Check out the first episode of this behind-the-scenes series of the Razorback women’s tennis team.
