🏈 RAZORBACK FOOTBALL PREVIEW
By Alyssa Riley
After the second bye week of the season, the Razorbacks are ready to grab this weekend by the horns as a piece of the Lone Star State will find its way to Arkansas. They will be taking on the No. 3 Texas Longhorns in Fayetteville at 11 a.m. tomorrow, surely a not-to-miss game, seeing as the last time the two teams competed at Donald W. Reynold’s Razorback Stadium was in 2021. Texas was No. 15 and hadn’t considered Arkansas a rival in many years, but the unranked Hogs showed out and dominated them 40-21, causing a Razorback-beloved field-rushed crowd.
Taylen Green missed a chunk of the Ole Miss game due to a leg injury after getting stuck and twisted underneath a Rebels player. Yet, we can expect our skilled QB to make his comeback this weekend. He will go up against Texas QB Quinn Ewers, who dominated against Florida last weekend. Green has more rushing touchdowns (5-1), passing yards (2,214-1,722), and completed passes (161-149). Hog fans can expect to see Ja’Quinden Jackson back on the field to take on his former team.
