🔺 Home Course Advantage. Both Arkansas golf programs are dominating the fourth annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational. The men’s A team locked in a tournament record 36-hole score of 563 (-13) to increase its lead to six shots, while the ladies are ahead of the field by a whopping 14 strokes at 11-under par. The Arkansas women’s A team is also the only team currently under par.

Graduate senior John Driscoll III’s second round score of 4-under-par 68 has him leading the individual field by four strokes, and Maria José Marin is in front by three shots at 10-under par as the final round gets underway this morning.

🔺 Showtime On The Hill. A month away from their first exhibition, Arkansas men’s basketball takes the court in Barnhill Arena tonight for their annual Red-White Showcase. 🔺 Way Out In Front. The second-fastest 8,000m winning time in Chile Pepper Festival history netted Arkansas distance runner Kirami Yego SEC Runner of the Week honors. Kirami, a junior transfer from South Alabama and native of Kapenguria, Kenya, shined in his Razorback debut with a 23:14.1 clocking. His time also ranks third best all-time on the Agri Park course and helped the Razorbacks capture the team title.

🔺 The Water’s Fine. Alessia Ferraguti earned SEC Women’s Swimmer of the Week honors for her stellar performance against the Kentucky Wildcats in the Razorback team’s season opener. Alessia placed first in the 100 and the 200 Breaststroke with times of 1:01.31 and 2:13.56 respectively. She was also part of the Razorbacks’ first-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay and a second-place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay.

🔺 Take It On The Road. With their three-game homestand in the rearview mirror, the 13th-ranked Arkansas volleyball team is on the road in SEC play for the first time tonight to take on LSU. Both the Volley Hogs and Tigers are coming off wins and sport winning records in conference play. Arkansas is on an 11-match win streak and is 3-0 in the SEC, while LSU has won two of their first three SEC matches thus far.

Wednesday’s match is slated for 7pm and will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus.
