From an early age, Phoebe Carver knew how to adapt on the fly. Arkansas soccer’s freshman goalie didn’t have the typical introduction to soccer that most little girls in America have. The start to her collegiate career was just as unique when an opportunity was presented to her midway through the 2023 season. She and the Hogs have thrived ever since, winning an SEC regular season title and will now being their run to an SEC Tournament championship.

In this edition of Razorback Profiled, you'll hear Phoebe's story and learn how she was able to rise to the occasion when her team needed her most. Plus, get a behind-the-scenes look at how she studies film and always looks for improvement.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Unfinished Business. Arkansas soccer makes its 17th SEC Tournament appearance in facing Auburn this afternoon. The Razorbacks may be the No. 1 seed in the bracket, but they’re facing the lone team to beat them in the past several weeks. The Tigers were the only SEC team the Hogs lost to this year when they faced off on October 8. It was the last defeat the Razorbacks experienced on their way to an SEC regular season title.

Arkansas will go for revenge at 5pm today. Catch the match on SEC Network.

🔺 Return To The Grind. The Hog football team gets back to work this week in preparing for a road game against Florida. Hear how the players are responding to coach Kenny Guiton as the new offensive play-caller, an update on Rocket Sanders, and more as Coach Pittman speaks to the media coming off the bye week.

🔺 Stable Settings. The SEC Setter of the Week honor will soon have to be renamed to the Hannah Hogue award. Hannah was honored with the accolade for the fourth time this year by the league and additionally earned SEC Player of the Week honors after racking up 78 combined assists against South Carolina and Florida. The Fort Smith native is the first Arkansas setter to win the award four times in one season and is one of only two Arkansas players ever to win any weekly awards four times in a season. Her Player of the Week designation is the Hogs’ first since Jill Gillen was given the award on Feb. 8, 2021.

🔺 It’s been a long road to the top of college basketball for Denijay Harris. Under-recruited out of high school, Denijay went the JUCO route, but after just two games, a major injury would end his next two seasons of hoops, and it was a struggle just to make it back. He would transfer to Southern Miss, and finally returned to game action in 2020. He would go on to help lead that program to a Sun Belt title last season. Seeking a fresh start, the 6-7 forward entered the transfer portal and landed at Arkansas, where he’s ready to write the next chapter of his comeback story.
