🔺 Super Support System. Only one Volley Hog had more blocks than junior Zoi Evans last Sunday during Arkansas’ road match vs. Kentucky, and the Tampa, FL native wasn’t the only member of the Evans family in Lexington that day. Watch as Zoi’s family cheers her on against the Wildcats in this special mic’d up featurette.

🔺 Kind History. The 2023 SEC Cross Country Championships are going down tomorrow morning, and both Arkansas teams are among the handful of ranked squads. The eighth-ranked Razorback men’s team is followed by No. 13 Tennessee and No. 22 Alabama, the defending champion as they’ll compete in the 8,000m race at the Charwood Golf Club. In the three previous times South Carolina has hosted the SEC Cross Country Championships, the Razorbacks have won the. The 11th-ranked women’s team will compete in the 6,000m race as they look to topple No. 7 Florida amid a packed field.

🔺 Difference Maker. Arkansas goalkeeper Sierra Cota-Yarde was named to the SEC Community Service Team. Sierra participated in the NWA Children’s Hospital Family Day where she attended a picnic and played games with patients and their families. She also was in attendance for the Tyson Food Truck event where the athletic department partnered with Tyson to give away 40,000 pounds of protein to local nonprofit agencies. The Razorback soccer team also hosted a joint youth clinic with Arkansas State where they engaged with young soccer players the night before the season’s first match.

Sierra and the Hogs are getting set to close out the regular season tonight against Mississippi State. It will be Senior Day for several of the Hogs’ top players, including two of the team’s top-three goal scorers Morgan White and Ava Tankersley. The Razorbacks have won 30 straight matches at home and can extend that tonight and during the upcoming NCAA Tournament. A win would also clinch the Hogs an outright SEC regular season title.
