🎥 RECAPPING FALL BALL
Reason To Believe. In the words of Clay Henry, Arkansas pitching coach Matt Hobbs delivered the goods, again. From what could be the deepest and most talented catcher group in college baseball, to arguably the best 1-2-3 starting rotation in the sport, check out Clay’s glimpse into just how good this year's Diamond Hogs are going to be.
Hogs+ is home to original films and docuseries telling the stories of some of the greatest players, coaches and moments in Razorback history. Watch the new Razorback Films trailer!
🎙️ HOG POD RE-RUN: KENNY GUITON
From humble beginnings. Before Kenny Guiton became an Arkansas assistant coach prior to turning 30 years old, he was a boy who wanted to make his dad proud playing the sport he loved. After being lost on the depth chart at Ohio State, he began to stray from the ideals and work ethic his father had instilled in him. He hit a crossroads—continue down his path and likely transfer, or redefine himself and return to his roots. The change in perspective changed the trajectory of his career on and off the field, and led him to the path he's found himself on today.
📈 STOCK UP
🔺 On Your Mark. Arkansas junior Tramon Mark was one of 20 players on the initial Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame watch list for the 2024 Jerry West Award, which recognizes the top shooting guards in Division I men’s college basketball. Mark is in his first year at Arkansas after being at Houston for the past three seasons. Fans are encouraged to participate in Fan Voting starting this Friday, October 27.
🔺 One Last Ride. Graduate student Makayla Daniels is getting ready to cap off an incredible collegiate career, one of the best by any Razorback women’s basketball player. The Frederick, Maryland native ranks No. 10 in career scoring with 1,463 points, the second most of all Hog point guards, and third in total starts with 122. Makayla’s swan song begins with being tabbed to the Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Second Team by the league’s coaches, as announced by the SEC Tuesday. This marks Daniels’ second preseason honors by the league, also being a second team choice prior to last season.
🔺 Diamond Round. Arkansas freshman golfer Abbey Schutte finished as the runner up at the Diamante Intercollegiate thanks to a final round score of 66, the lowest a Razorback has shot in 18 holes this season. The 6-under round helped propel Abbey 10 spots up the leaderboard on Tuesday as she wrapped up her fall season along with Giovanna Fernandez and Kendall Todd. Click here to find out where they finished on the leaderboard.
🔺 Boiler Up. Intensity is ramping up for the Hogs on the hardwood with an exhibition against a top-five opponent just days away. How much will Trevon Brazile be out on the floor? And what lessons has freshman phenom Baye Fall learned leading up to the regular season? Get all the answers in Head Coach Eric Musselman’s presser previewing the Purdue matchup.
